At New Market Design Build, we are all about connecting with our local community and showing our neighbors just how much fun the premium home remodeling world can be. We recently had the chance to flex our creative muscles at the annual Chestnut Hill Home & Garden Festival with a special photo booth that got people to think outside the box! We showed up bright and early to make sure our team had plenty of time to get everything JUST perfect.

This festival is such an amazing event that attracts so many fun businesses and neighbors, so we wanted to come up with something extra special. After a lot of collaboration, our team decided to build a unique photo booth: a beautiful interior…on its side! We built, finished, and decorated the walls, floor and ceiling separately before putting them all together for guests to explore and pose in.

The room featured a classic blue and white color palette with a gorgeous floral accent wall and a pop of gold in the light fixture. Warm wood flooring and a neutral blue area rug helped make the traditional-style table and chair shine. Finally, a perfectly placed bookshelf provided an excellent, even if unconventional, seat! Even though it was only a fun photo opportunity, our team put their all into this project.

To add to the fun, we made sure everyone that stopped by was a winner with our prize wheel, which featured lots of New Market Design Build swag - including these adorable New Market Design Build Bears! Who doesn’t love free stuff?

While we had the best time planning and building this immersive design experience for festival visitors, our favorite parts of the day by far were the great conversations we had with homeowners from all corners of this incredible community.
